Mobile app (PARGO)

01 Project

PARGO exists to take the confusion out of parking — giving drivers the clarity they need to park safely, legally and stress-free.

02 My role

I am co-owner and lead UX designer

03 Challenge

Parking rules are far more complex than most people realize. Behind every parking rule (including parking signs) sits a web of overlapping authorities – municipalities setting the public framework, private parking companies enforcing their own conditions, and the actual owners of the lot who may have their own restrictions on top of that.

From a UX perspective, this creates a unique challenge: how do you take something inherently fragmented, inconsistent and often poorly communicated – and turn it into a clear, trustworthy and instantly actionable experience for a driver who has ten seconds to decide whether to park or drive on?

The answer is not just good UI design. It requires a deep understanding of the rules themselves, where the data comes from, how reliable it is – and how to communicate uncertainty without undermining confidence. Getting that balance right is at the heart of what makes PARGO both a fascinating and demanding product to build.
